Attention all senior band, choir, and spring musical participants! The Musician of the Month scholarships are now being accepted. Don't wait to apply! See Mr. Tripp in the band room for details.

Attention all musicians! Miss playing in band? Here is an opportunity to use your skills in the two extra curricular Jazz Bands for PCHS Bands. Come sign up outside the band room! We are accepting all musicians including bass, guitar, percussion, flutes, and clarinets too! See Mr. Tripp for details.

Seniors will have powder puff practice Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6-7:30 at the park by Ball's Transportation. You must have your Extra Curricular Code and Insurance Waivers signed before you can practice. Practice on Saturday morning will be from 11-1. We will also have practice next week on Monday and Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. You must attend three practices in order to play. If you have questions, please see Mr. Doughan or Ms. Seaton.

Juniors will have Powder Puff Practice Thursday 5:30-7 pm, Sunday 5:30-7, and Tuesday 5:30-7 p.m. You must attend 3 practices in order to play. We will call additional practices if necessary! Practices will be held at ClearTalk, which is located next to the Skate Rink on Route 1.

Anybody who would like to bring a non-PCHS student to the homecoming dance needs to see Mr. T in Room 13 by Friday, Sept. 10th

Operation: Medicine Cabinet (and Car Wash), Saturday, September 11 from 10am to 1pm. Drop off your old prescription and over the counter drugs for safe disposal. You clean your cabinet, we’ll clean your car! Two locations for your convenience: In Paris at Citizens National Bank, East Branch and in Marshall at Lincoln Trails Ford on Route 1.

Attention boys basketball players: All players will be fitted for team basketball shoes immediately after school in the PCHS library on Monday, September 13th. The team meeting will follow the shoe sizing. Please be sure to attend the meeting and also remember to sign up to be a member of the basketball team on the bulletin board outside the main office. The deadline to sign up for boys basketball is also set for September 13th.

Boys varsity basketball is in need of 2 managers for the upcoming season. Anyone interested should see Coach Nugent at the basketball meeting after school in the PCHS library on Sept. 13th.

There will be a Freshman Class meeting held on September 16th at 8:30 in the Eveland gym. Students will return to first hour class if there is time.

SENIORS- Those wanting to retake the ACT on Oct. 23rd should pick up a packet from Guidance. Deadline to mail is Sept. 17, 2010.

A representative from the University of Illinois will be here on Sept. 15 at 9AM to visit with students interested in U of I. If you need a pass see Guidance.

A representative from Eastern Illinois University will be here on Sept. 16 at 1PM. If you are interested in EIU, come to Guidance for a pass.

A St. Mary of the Woods College Representative will be here on Sept. 20 at 9:30AM. Anyone interested in meeting with her should contact the Guidance office for a pass.

A representative from Lake Land College will be here on Sept. 21, at 12:15pm. Come to Guidance if you want a pass to talk with her.

A representative from Southern Illinois University will be here on Sept. 24 for a visit. See Guidance if you need a pass.
