Juniors or Seniors interested in taking the Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test must register in the Guidance office Oct. 1st to Oct. 7th. The test will be given the morning of Oct. 27th in the Auditorium. There is no fee.

All HS Students interested in volunteering with the Y Hangar board please plan on attending the first organizational meeting TONIGHT at the Y at 8:00pm. Hangar volunteers help with dances, the Y Auction, the Honeybee race and can now gain valuable experience as assistant Youth sports coaches and child care helpers. Hangar board members receive recognition, free admission to dances and field trips throughout the year and more!

All FFA Members: our first FFA meeting of the year is at lunch today! We will be discussing upcoming events, fundraisers, national convention and lunch is provided. Sign up for lunch in Mr. Cox's room and Freshmen and Sophomores need to make sure they sign in first!

Any FFA members interested in Forestry contest need to sign up in Miss Hewitt's room. The first Forestry practice will be today at 4pm at Schwartz park.

STAR Leaders will be hosting a McEvent night this evening from 4-7 p.m. Make sure to stop by Paris McDonald's on your way to Powder Puff Practice & Float Building!!

Seniors will have powder puff practice Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6-7:30 at the park by Ball's Transportation. You must have your Extra Curricular Code and Insurance Waivers signed before you can practice. Practice on Saturday morning will be from 11-1. We will also have practice next week on Monday and Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. You must attend three practices in order to play. If you have questions, please see Mr. Doughan or Ms. Seaton.

You clean your cabinet, we’ll clean your car! Two locations for your convenience: In Paris at Citizens National Bank, East Branch and in Marshall at Lincoln Trails Ford on Route 1.

Attention boys basketball players: All players will be fitted for team basketball shoes immediately after school in the PCHS library on Monday, September 13th. The team meeting will follow the shoe sizing. Please be sure to attend the meeting and also remember to sign up to be a member of the basketball team on the bulletin board outside the main office. Sign up ASAP because the first rehearsal will begin after school on Sept. 8th 3:20pm until 4:10pm. This class is open to all students who love to sing and wish to be a part of the PCHS Mass Choir. It is a special class for all students who couldn't get chorus in their schedule. The choir will be involved in 2 festivals and concert performances throughout the year. Attention Advanced Singers, Sign Up for Vocal IMEA Auditions! If you are wanting to audition for the prestigious IMEA All-District and All-State Choirs you MUST sign up by Friday, Sept. 10th on the chorus room door.

All entries for those auditioning must be registered by Sept. 15th, so don't wait until the last minute. Auditions for this include scales, sight-reading and prepared pieces. Only advanced singers should apply. Any questions, see Ms. Hiddle ASAP afternoons in the chorus room.
